Medical Scholars Program
The goal of the Medical Scholars Program is to increase the graduation rate of pre-health students at UCR, particularly students who wish to serve in medically underserved communities, and help them achieve their goal of entering medical school or allied health disciplines.
- The scholars take part in study groups
- Learn survival skills for college success
- Receive academic and career counseling from peer mentors, staff and medical faculty advisors
- Participate in research internships and clinical volunteer experiences
- And work together as a learning community
